At night, the heat of the day subsides as the glow of street lights fills the air; spaces where people congregate during the day are left quiet and empty. Here, the only noises left are the roaring of water pounding down the Menomonee River waterfall and far off distant sirens, evidence of a greater, restless city nearby.
