Yahara Parkway is a testimony to people's love and commitment to their community. Initially used for industrial transportation in the late 1800s, the riverway became a dumping ground. In the early 1900s, Madisonians banded together to research and implement a plan to improve the Yahara River, turning it into a natural wonder of Madison.
